The third workshop within the Components 2 and 3 of the CARDS 2004 Adult learning project was held on 6 May 2008 in the Dubrovnik Hotel in Zagreb with a view to prepare 28 members of working groups for the study visit to Aarhus, Denmark, from 18 to 25 May.
The third workshop was held by Ellen Jeppesen and David Parkes, education policy expert.
The objective of this workshop is the revision of the study visit programme and preparation for the visit:
- by providing an overview of the Danish education system
- by reviewing the study visit programme in relation to content and logistics
- by preparing an outline of key questions in the context of the agreed framework of issues
- by making adjustments in the context of participants’ responses.
The objective of this study visit is getting to know Danish system, especially adult education.
Members of working groups will visit Aarhus Technical College and Aarhus Commercial College, Central Denmark Region (Region Midtjylland), Grundfoss Company, Competence Centre, Adult Education Centre, Aarhus Social and Health Care College, Aarhus School of Production, and Employers and Trade Unions Association.
The fourth workshop will take place in mid-June 2008.
