The third workshop within the Component 4: “Quality of training programmes and providers” of the CARDS 2004 Adult learning project was held in the Therapia Hotel in Crikvenica from 22 to 24 April 2008.
Primary objectives of the Component 4 are the production of the methodology for the development of the training programmes based on learning outcomes, the development of the proposal for the improvement of the verification/accreditation procedures and the development of the proposal for the improvement of the expert supervision system and training of supervisors.
The workshop was held by Jean Gordon, qualifications framework expert, and Richard Bennett, expert supervision and accreditation expert.
This workshop was the second activity within the output 4.1., whose goal is the production of the methodology for the development of the training programmes based on learning outcomes.
The objective of this three-day workshop was to define the methodology of writing the training programmes based on learning outcomes through the selection of certain programmes, as well as to define learning outcomes, skills and knowledge acquired after completing certain programmes.
The next workshop has been announced to take place by the end of June or in the beginning of July 2008.
