The second workshop within the Component 4: “Quality of training programmes and providers” of the CARDS 2004 Adult learning project was held in Tuheljske Toplice from 10 to 12 March 2008.
Primary objectives of the Component 4 are the production of the methodology for the development of the training programmes based on learning outcomes, the development of the proposal for the improvement of the verification/accreditation procedures and the development of the proposal for the improvement of the expert supervision system and training of supervisors
The workshop was held by Jean Gordon, qualifications framework expert, and Richard Bennett, expert supervision and accreditation expert.
This workshop was the first activity within the outputs 4.2 and 4.3., whose goal is the development of the proposal for the improvement of the verification/accreditation procedures and the development of the proposal for the improvement of the expert supervision system and training of supervisors.
The objective of this three-day workshop was a presentation and analysis of the existing practice in the verification of the training programmes in Croatia, as well as the presentation and analysis of the examples of accreditation/verification and supervision in other European countries. Examples of the quality assurance framework from the EU Common Quality Assurance Framework were also presented and analysed.
The next workshop has been announced to take place in May 2008.
