Second workshop within the Component 6 of the CARDS 2004 project took place
The second workshop within the Component 6: “Learning campaign” of the CARDS 2004 Adult learning project took place.



The second workshop within the Component 6: “Learning campaign” of the CARDS 2004 Adult learning project took place from 12 to 14 March 2008 in Terme Tuhelj in Tuheljske Toplice.

It was held by Nenad Vertovšek, journalist and media campaign expert, and Meri Maretić, public relations expert and Vice President of the Croatian Public Relations Association.

Eddie White, visiting expert in adult education, also participated in the workshop and presented the Scottish example of the campaign for awareness raising and for greater involvement of adults in educational process.

This workshop is the second activity within the output 6.2., whose goal is the designing and implementation of the strategy and media plan of learning awareness campaign, as well as of the proposal of a Strategy plan for implementation of the Lifelong Learning Week and marking the Literacy Day in the Republic of Croatia.

The Lifelong Learning Week draft prepared by the Agency for Adult Education and Croatia’s past experiences in the implementation of the Lifelong Learning Week were presented to the participants during the workshop.

Planned results of the workshop were: discussion about the Lifelong Learning Week 2008 draft programme, formulation of the proposal for the improvement of the draft proposed by the working group, and the drafting of the proposal of the learning awareness campaign strategy and media plan.

At the workshop, the Lifelong Learning Week draft has been amended according to the suggestions, and a media plan and learning campaign draft has been prepared.

The next workshop will take place in mid-April 2008.
